Does anyone have the new discrete codes for the G10 series of Plasma TV's from Panasonic? The main codes needed are the discrete power commmands.

you're obviously new around here, we don't receive much from Panasonic here, or anywhere else for that matter. are you of the opinion that the usual codeset won't work on this new range?
do you have one of these sets? if so perhaps post a few learned codes if you are able.

Yes, I have one of these sets and can post in any format you wish. I guess you would like the CCF format, correct?
No, the new units are using an entirely different codeset than the past units. I will capture these and post them later if anyone can help that would be great.

I also am new here and acquired the Panasonic TC-P50G10.

I am searching for discrete codes as well to work with my URC MX 880. I have a Harmony 880 and Logitech seems to have the discrete codes in their database. I have an idea. If I let my Harmony remote learn these discrete commands then teach my URC MX 880 them (the learnt codes); I might be able to get them in some form and extract them from the MX 880 editor software.

Let me know if my proposal is feasible

Thanks.

any update on this?
or have you found that the codeset is indeed the same as it always has been?

I now have it on the Highest authority that the codeset has NOT changed!

I found the discrete codes including direct input codes in the B&K version of the MX Editor software. For those in the same boat as me they are in the generic Panasonic TV codes "Panasonic 13" near the end of the list.

IR Database > TV > Panasonic > [PANASONIC 13]

Hope this helps! It saved me from major issues with the SO and the rest of the family that would never be able to operate the system without macros!

Thanks Jason. I don't know how many posts I went through before finding this, but it's exactly what any self-respecting Pronto owner needs.

So much wailing and knashing of teeth about Panasonic discrete codes, but so few useful answers. lol.

This PDF makes life so easy with Cut & Paste of the exact codes. No more trial & error with bad learned codes, plus the discretes listed. yippee!

Well, almost there.

My Panny TC-P50V10 inputs are listed from 0-9, but that PDF codesheet is missing the discrete for "Input 1" (TV). All the other discretes for inputs seem valid, just missing this one.

I tried TV/Video, but that just brings up the Inputs list (oddly, this discrete is different than my learned "INPUT" code from the original remote, but it results in the same action - Inputs list).

Anyone have the discrete for "Input 1" (TV)?

I had the same problem. I just use "INPUT" then "1" to switch to TV.

A question here: In the RS232 control, there are commands for "THX" "CUSTOM" etc. Is there any discrete IR codes for these as well?
