Hi,

I need discrete on/off codes for my "Phillips 28pw6506/01" tv and my Infocus SP4805 projector. I can't find them in the files section. Does anyone know where to get them? I'm using a Marantz RC5000i.

Best regards danniman2002

I thought these had been posted before...

PowerOff (NEC1:135.78:57)

I just pasted those out of my own collection. But now, checking the files section, they're also available there, plain as day. A simple search for "Infocus" in the files would have easily found them:

As far as Philips goes, I'm pretty sure you're out of luck (for now). I don't recall seeing discrete Power commands. Maybe someone else has a workaround or maybe someone has the ellusive codes.

Thanks for helping me, but i have tried those codes before. It seems they only work with the sp5700 and sp7200. Maybe i should try them again, just to be sure ;)

Looking at the documentation I have, the other codes match up for the projector you have (Power Toggle, inputs, etc.) It's possible that specific model didn't implement the discretes however.

if you go to the infocus website you can obtain codes for their projectors. although i have never had any luck with them. i just set up the system such that you don't need to worry about the discrete on/off for the projector and just use the toggle power.

The screenplay 4805 Only has a Discrecte On. But upon looking at there website i notice a Function call standby which in theroy is turning the projector off considering the fan on the 4805 is always going anyway. My only problem is i have not been able to test this theroy yet cause i dont know how to convert this to Pronto Hex

Here you go:

And here are a few more InFocus discretes I found for a different device number. I don't know if they'll work on this model (that's whhy I didn't post them the first time):

Has anyone found the codes for "off" for the Infocus 4805, if so could you post it here?

Thanks.

On the Phillips Plasma Model #50FD9955:

The channel up or down command will act as a discreet ON. However, if you send it twice, it will toggle the input source. Also, go into the Phillips plasma TV menu and select the input you want to power up to. There is a page in the menu something like, "wake up input" or "turn on input." The TV will turn on and go to this input when you send a channel up or channel down code.

Discreet OFF is the above channel up or down command, followed by a delay of several seconds, followed by POWER
