Samsung has been no help. Are there samsung un55d7000lf on off discrete codes?

Absolutely, what control system are you using? There are codes in URC database, RTI Integration Designer and tons of Crestron modules / IR drivers around that all have discrete codes for this device.

I am using a Pronto tsu3500/17 to control my new samsung un55d7000lf smart tv power on. I really need to have discrete on/off codes so I don't continue losing the tv when I switch to another activity(DVD or Cameras)

I found codes that worked listed in the power codes for the HLR series HDTV
