I am looking for the Code for my Comcast Digital Transport Adaptor, so I may program my universal remote for it.

You didn't say which model of DTA, but try Cable 1982. If your remote needs a 5 digit setup code prepend the same first digit as used on other cable boxes.

Well the DTA is apparently a DCI1011COM but it says liscensed for dolby and also it says manufactured for Thomson on it? so I dont know... when i called comcast who was no help at all they said it was manufactured by Motorola -_-

also the code 1982 will not be accepted by the remote. when a code is accepted the led should blink twice for some reason when i enter 1982... it flashes once for a very long time...

That DTA uses the XMP IR protocol, and it is also used in a number of Motorola cable boxes. So try the Motorola cable codes.

The XRU9M is bmade by UEI, but the code numbers are different than their typical setup codes. SO 1982 presumably won't work.

Nevermind... after talking to both comcast and Vizio only to have them both tell me that they dont have the code and it is the others responsibility to have the codes I returned the shitty controller and bought a logitech harmony 300. Brought it home took like 5 mins to install... the controller actually had the presets for the comcast cable box... im now enjoying being able to use 1 controller as initially intended :D
