Hi, I was wondering if anyone knew power on and power off?

The format is (learned from remote):

Power ON/OFF toggle:
0000 006c 0022 0002 0155 00ac 0016 0015 0016 003f 0016 003f 0016 0015 0016 0015 0016 0015 0016 0015 0016 0015 0016 0015 0016 003f 0016 003f 0016 0015 0016 0015 0016 0015 0016 0015 0016 0015 0016 003f 0016 0015 0016 0014 0016 0015 0016 0014 0016 003f 0016 0015 0016 0015 0016 0015 0016 003f 0016 003f 0016 003f 0016 003f 0016 0015 0016 003f 0016 003f 0016 06a6 0155 0056 0016 0e54

Play/Pause:
0000 006c 0022 0002 0155 00ac 0016 0015 0016 003f 0016 003f 0016 0015 0016 0015 0016 0015 0016 0015 0016 0015 0016 0015 0016 003f 0016 003f 0016 0015 0016 0015 0016 0015 0016 0015 0016 0015 0016 0015 0016 003f 0016 0015 0016 003f 0016 0015 0016 0015 0016 003f 0016 0015 0016 003f 0016 0014 0016 003f 0016 0015 0016 003f 0016 003f 0016 0015 0016 003f 0016 06a6 0155 0056 0016 0e54

I have an original pronto classic. Maybe someone could generate a ccf
will all possible codes? Or teach me to do it?

Thanks!

you have mail.
happy testing.
post back if you find anything, in fact it may be an idea to post back if you don't find anything too, save others searching.

Looks like I got function 0 to 151 in my rc mail. Thanks! Can you send me the
rest?

Is there a tool to put those all in a ccf with generic buttons for testing?

Unfortunately, none worked for discrete power on. I guess I will check again after every couple FW releases. Thanks again to all the help!

They release a new FW that is supposed to have discrete on/off codes
Power On: F00FCB04
Power Off: B04FCB04

Using Discrete Power On:
When the unit is fully powered off, the hardware only responds to the "Power" button, not "Discrete Power On". To send a discrete power on, send "Discrete Power On" followed immediately by "Power". The unit is programmed to ignore a "Power" toggle within 500 ms of a "Discrete Power On".

The above was posted in the netgear forums.
If any one could convert these to Pronto Hex format it would be appreciated.

Thanks, will give it a go this weekend. Jason, do you know which numbers
each of those correspond to in your ccf file you gave me earlier? That way I can
just push those on the test panels you made.

The Device Number is different so the codes I gave you won't work.

Jason, is it common for a device to use two different device numbers?
My interpretation of your last post is that the original keys are a different
device number than the two new discrete keys?

It is for Receivers and TV's. It depends on the Brand, some do some don't.

Yeah, they are different from the original remote which is little weird for just an On and Off discrete but I guess can they do what ever they want. You will just have to try them.

Jasonvp, THANKS! The first set work:

Power On: 04CB 0FF0

However, the directions netgear has posted for "Using Discrete Power On:" are absolutely wrong. The discrete power on code should not be linked with power toggle, as stated in the directions. The discrete on code works all by itself.
