I'm using a RTI IR-Pro to read the remote... this is the hex for 'Power'
0000 006D 0000 0022 00AA 00AA 0014 0040 0014 0040 0014 0040 0014 0014 0014 0014 0014 0014 0014 0014 0014 0014 0014 0040 0014 0040 0014 0040 0014 0014 0014 0014 0014 0014 0014 0014 0014 0014 0014 0014 0014 0040 0014 0014 0014 0014 0014 0014 0014 0014 0014 0014 0014 0014 0014 0040 0014 0014 0014 0040 0014 0040 0014 0040 0014 0040 0014 0040 0014 0040 0014 06EE
however I'm in need of the discrete codes for On, off, source(s), etc

The hex code you posted is the same Protocol and Device Number as codes on the previous page (same as all Samsung TV's).
When you tried the discrete codes do you get a 'Not Available' on the TV screen?
You may have to try all the codes but I'm guessing you may have a TOAD! Samsung may not have included these because it's a base model.
This is the code for POWER from the codes in Post 2. Device Code: 7.7 Function: 2 0000 006D 0000 0022 00AC 00AB 0015 0041 0015 0041 0015 0041 0015 0016 0015 0016 0015 0016 0015 0016 0015 0016 0015 0041 0015 0041 0015 0041 0015 0016 0015 0016 0015 0016 0015 0016 0015 0016 0015 0016 0015 0041 0015 0016 0015 0016 0015 0016 0015 0016 0015 0016 0015 0016 0015 0041 0015 0016 0015 0041 0015 0041 0015 0041 0015 0041 0015 0041 0015 0041 0015 0689
Just check to see if that works.

I've had a win with this - sending a 'number' turns the screen on which is 90% of the battle for me. Thanks for your help Jason.
Cheers, R.N.
P.S. I'm not sure if it's a TOAD but I believe the literal translation of 'samsung' is "slimey electronic device"

Hi,
I am pre-programming for a Samsung series 9 TV.
Can anyone confirm what the USB code is?
I could learn it on site but I would like to button up the programming before going back out to site.
Thanks D.

Here are some others I found.
1Source List 2Power Toggle 67DTV - Same as 27 99DMA 110SRS TS HD Off - input dependant? 119Energy Save Toggle 189Picture Mode Dynamic 222Picture Mode Movie 223Picture Mode Standard 2274x3 22816x9

I have 6+ year old samsung LCD tv. Function 2 sorta works it actually turns it on OR off, then back on... The discrete 152 and 153 don't work. Am I just stuck without discrete on and off? I am using an irtrans to send the ccf and this is my first time sending a ccf with the irtrans..

I'm not aware of any Samasung TV which responds to function numbers 152 and 153 by actuating the digits 3 and 2. What model number do you have?

Interestingly, the 170mp and 242mp use the Samsung 20 IR protocol rather than the normal NECx2 device 7.7 protocol. But your 192mp appears to be NECx2 since it responded to Power toggle.
Neither of the above two SynchMasters have discrete On/Off so perhaps the Synchmaster series doesn't implement that.

Hello, 7 year lurker here. I just wanted to let everyone know that the codes found in the Excel spreadsheet in this link worked flawlessly for my recently purchased Samsung LN46C530F1F. I have tested every code and they are all labeled correctly. I copied and pasted them into my old trusty Pronto Neo, using neo Hacker and I now have all the discrete input and on off codes for my new toy! Thanks to whomever managed to find all these codes. This is a great site and has saved my code searching bacon every time! www.remotecentral.com/cgi-bin/files/rcfiles.cgi

I'm away from the models right now, but I've also run across some Samsung codes that don't work on the latest TVs. Have I been using codes that are on the edge of working for some TV, and over the edge and therefore not working for other models, or has Samsung changed some codes? Sorry I can't pin this down to any particular models.
