Do you have a learned Hex Code for the POWER TOGGLE or another Function you can Post?

Give these a go,

Device Code: 131.85 Function: 145
0000 006D 0000 0022 0157 00AC 0015 0041 0015 0041 0015 0016 0015 0016 0015 0016 0015 0016 0015 0016 0015 0041 0015 0041 0015 0016 0015 0041 0015 0016 0015 0041 0015 0016 0015 0041 0015 0016 0015 0041 0015 0016 0015 0016 0015 0016 0015 0041 0015 0016 0015 0016 0015 0041 0015 0016 0015 0041 0015 0041 0015 0041 0015 0016 0015 0041 0015 0041 0015 0016 0015 0689

You will have to use the Power toggle for ON. I do not know if a Discrete ON exists!

Did the Power OFF in Post 2 or 4 work?

Cheers

No, I noticed the second set of characters in all of my learned hex codes are 006b while yours are 006D. Also, mine all end with 061b while your are 0689. I talked to advanced tech support at Epson and she had never heard of discrete ir codes before. It shows you how advanced their support is. One thing I noticed after copying your codes in, it would lock up the emitter port and always stay on. I had to reset the port everytime.

That represents a small difference in modulation frequency and should not matter.

That represents a small difference in repeat rate and should not matter.

I don't have a clue what you're talking about. Maybe Jason does. But in case he doesn't, can you give a bit of overview:

What did you copy the codes into?
What is sending the IR signals? (In this forum, when people don't say what will be sending the IR signal, we usually assume a Pronto will be sending the signal).
What device is that "emitter port" part of? How do you know it is locked up? How do you reset it?

It's a Control 4 system and the emiiter light stays on and the projector will not respond to any commands that do work. I just reset the entire controller

That must mean there is some bug in the software the Control 4 system uses for importing Pronto Hex.

Possibly some tiny difference in the Pronto Hex that wouldn't matter to a real Pronto is triggering that bug.

Post some samples of Pronto Hex that can be correctly imported into the Control 4 and maybe we will be able to guess what aspect of the Pronto Hex is confusing it.

The MakeHex program, that I think Jason used, is very adjustable and can produce the right Pronto Hex if we can figure out what Pronto Hex the Control 4 understands.

BTW, when you copied the Pronto Hex from Jason's post, I hope you understood the actual Pronto Hex string starts with the 0000. Everything before the 0000 is human readable labeling, not part of the Pronto Hex.

Also, it is possible that your browser and/or the method you use to copy/paste from the forum is changing the Pronto Hex string.

In the original string there is a single blank between each set of four hex digits. Where your browser shows you a line break within the string, there is no actual line break just an ordinary blank.

If the copy/paste process changes that visible line break into an actual line break, that might confuse a program that you paste the Pronto Hex into (or it might not care. It depends on how that program was coded).
