I tried the discrete codes posted on this website for Hitachi rear projection sets. I could only get the inputs to work but not the on or off. Just wondering what units those codes have been verified on, I am using a 53SWX12W.

These are the same code strings that are under the discrete codes on this website which I already tried on this TV.

If they don't work, then there aren't any. Only some models this year support it.

Any luck on the hitachi rear projection discrete power especially the 53 & 61 HD widescreens?

I have a Hitachi 61UWX10B. I also tried the above codes with no luck on the power on/off. I would love to find discrete codes for my TV's Power.
