i guess theres a known issue w video and ip drivers with yammys past few months? anyone else seeing this?

no, but i had an rxa4a dead out of the box. we just started using these too, so this post makes me even more nervous.

We've had 2 4A's on a project with C4 act beyond squirrely. Moved to IR and works fine.

ir control is perfect. its the video switch and ip driver/software. we do ir still so no issues but the video is killing me

Is this after the latest firmware update - or before?
I found the RXV's work better Sony source devices now... but haven't played with other kit.
Try dropping the HDMI 4K settings to 4K Mode 2, not 4K Mode 1 or 8K to see if dropping through-put down a bit in-case extenders aren't handling things.
