Doing my first 10G network job. Need to terminate all of the wires in structured media enclosure (Leviton 28"); can't do a rack patch panel since there is no space for a rack (Manhattan apartment). Any data modules out there that are shielded? Since the enclosure is metal and grounded can I just tie the shields together and screw them into the panel? Or should I just use this inside the enclosure and call it a day:

There are none of the structured wiring companies that are even the least bit interested in creating new modules for the panels. Look how long it took to just get Cat6 labeled modules.

My guess would be Leviton will be the first to offer them if/when they ever come. And frankly they would be the only ones I would trust to actually be certified for it.

I've used many of the others that have come out and they pretty much took the Cat5e modules they had, recolored/relabeled them, and called them Cat6 while charging more money. Seriously, tear apart some of the other brands and you can see for yourself, the Cat5e & Cat6 labeled modules are the EXACT same board. Maybe the original board was good enough to pass Cat6. But then why relabel it and charge a much higher price.

Anyway, I think you are on the right path by using the Trendnet piece. As long as you have the room.
