Is the Apple TV app on Samsung Smart TVs the same as a separate Apple TV ?

Can the Apple TV app on Samsung Smart TVs run other Apple TV apps, such as Netflix, Amazon Video etc.. or does the Apple TV app on Samsung Smart TVs just run iTunes pay per view movies / TV, and Apple TV+ subscription content. Whilst leaving Netflix, Amazon Video etc as standard "Samsung Apps" ?

The appleTV app provides you access to any content you purchased from iTunes/Apple plus their original AppleTV Content. You can also do airplay. I was really hoping for a Photos integration, but that didn't come across. At least with airplay you can easily send them to the TV. Also, Sony sent out an update Friday to E,F and G models for Airplay. I can only imagine the AppleTV app is around the corner.

The Apple tv app doesn't include Apple Extras that true Apple Tv's have. Like in "Superman the movie", the Apple tv device includes the 180 minute version of the movie as an extra, where app doesn't.

Then I find out that I need to pay extra for Apple TV + to get the good content. Frustrating!

Does it allow access to the Appletv app store?
One of the features that is a good selling point of ATVs is access to that. For example I can view Nest cameras through the ATV app. Good selling point for people that have them.
