I HAVE A A CRESTRON ST-CP AND A 1550C TOUCH PANEL THE SYSTEM IS GREAT BUT I CAN NOT GET IT TO WORK A ECOSTAR 6000 HD-SATILITTE RECEIVER. THE REMOTE IS UHF CAN YOU HELP ME WITH ANY SUGGESTION ON THIS OR DO I NEED ANOTHER PIECE OF EQUIPMENT TO GO WITH THIS SYSTEM. THE RECEIVER IS SUPPOSE TO OPERAT ON IR AS WELL

You'll have to use IR to control the receiver -- there's already a driver for it, in the Crestron Database. I'm not familiar with the 6000, but you can probably search this site, or elsewhere on the net, for instructions on enabling the IR sensor (if it even needs to be enabled).

Did you go into ECOSTAR 6000 HD-SATILITTE RECEIVER set-up menu and select ir?

Also, I beleive there are 12 different sets of IR codes for this unit. Do you have it set to the correct address?

Do you have a ST-VS (video sensor) written into the program? I had the same problem with an Echostar unit and removed the video sense logic for the satellite receiver and all worked well. I believe that the Echostar emits voltage (from the composite video out) even when off, thus making the sensor belive that the unit is on.
