Wow, a lot of people and companies are going to be scrambling.

Probably one of the best software I've ever purchased.

Well that sucks.
And I'm one of those folks who owns every DVD and BD disc that I have ripped to my NAS.
I actually purchased more movies then I would have otherwise since being able to rip them made watching them so convenient.
While I try to keep my physical discs organized the kids/guests/etc mess that up, take them to their own room, etc. Just having to track down some misplaced disc was enough to cause me to skip watching it.
I really find it hard to believe the number of folks using AnyDVD cost that many sales.
Regards, Frederick C. Wilt

But didn't DVDFab run into the same problem and have to remove the feature the allowed making unprotected copies?

My rep from Vidabox assures me there is already a promising solution in place that will need to be time tested. Always the same story with these - when one falls a dozen come to market.

Me too. Hadn't used it in a while and just bought a new blu-ray. Went to download the software and saw the announcement. Looks like I missed it by a day :(
