Ever since I've had windows 8, I've tried to upload from a couple of existing MX-880's, and I keep getting the error "upload error can't connect".
The computer acknowledges the USB connection. I've gone over the update driver procedure with URC and also installed windows mobile device.
URC is saying I have to have a windows 7 emulator to connect to the MX880??
I don't have time to comb the forums.
Anyone have a quick fix for this issue?

Run as Administrator.
Make sure you have that dumb Windows mobile thingy installed.
