Hi everyone,
1. Do any discrete IR codes exist for the Zenith DTV-1080 Satellite receiver?
2. Does anyone have the RS-232 strings for it?
Any information/codes you can provide would be great. I need to be able to force it ON or OFF (the remote IR code is a toggle).

I have a question .
Did you know when it's off it doesnt use much less power then when its on .
It sends voltage out when on or off .
If you have a high ampree out 120 on receiver use that to turn off the sat rcvr. and put on in your macro .
that way when the stereo is off so is the sat .
Just a sugestion
You could also probably use an "ac 3"
