I haven't heard anything in a while and all my customers who don't have Tivo 1 are asking.

Thanks in advance

If you're asking about Series 2 Tivo's, they're here.

Unless, of course, they ran out of stock again.

I got mine back in February.

However, you can only get them from Tivo.com or maybe best buy.

mickdawg,
How do you like your new Tivo? I was tempted to upgrade my SVR2000 until I read the Series2 had PQ flaws. Could you comment on that?

PQ=Picture Quality.

I just read the thread on Tivocommunity.com regarding this issue. Very Interesting.

I can't personally comment on this problem as I only have off air TV at the moment and video quality fluctuates when the wind blows. Also, this is my first Tivo, so I can't really compare.

However, I just installed two tivo's in a home that are modulated over the house cable. We are currently having significant image quality problems. We thought it was a bug in our design, but this sheds new light on the matter.

Thanks for the heads up and if I were you, I'd wait a little while longer.

I had an installer warn me of problems where TIVO series 2 gobbled up the necessary bandwidth when installed on the same line as DSL?......

This caused the DSL to lock up and not work....

If you want more info Ill ask him to elaborate
I know I can do this, I saw it on TV once....

I'd love to heare more about that. Honestly, I've never heard of anything eating dsl bandwidth, except dsl.

Also, as a follow up, I'm getting a new Tivo as mine has sort of crapped out. Not because of picture quality. Sound quality was going in and out.

I called Tivo and they didn't even troubleshoot. They were like, OK, here's what you do to get a new one. Obviously, not the first time this has happened.
