I have an Elan Z-100 key pad that keeps flashing on source 3 and whatever other source is selected. When source 3 is selected it no longer flashes. Also the preset up and down takes a couple of pushes before it actually goes through with the command. That may be a problem with the code of the tunner itself. Has any one else had problems like this with the Z-100 keypad? Thanks for your help.

some components, like marantz, use multi code. the first (odd) press of a key is a different code than the next press (even). in order to correct this, you can create a macro for these keypresses that actually sends a dummy command first... such as clear. that way the component will always respond to the first press. the other possibility is that you just have to relearn the ir command or mess with emitter placement.

keypad feedback sounds strange to me. it may be realated whole house music mode. make sure you don't have whole house audio selected.
