fwiw, the really perplexing thing is that we've done at least ONE OTHER INSTALL with this same setup (same X1 box, same RTI control system, same codeset) - and the issue is NOT manifesting there.

Get another X1?

Have seen issues with brand new boxes.

BTW, new URC codesets are generally good. The only thing I underpromise is favorite channel logos/macros. With the old boxes they were bulletproof. With the new boxes, don't plan on it.
There is no truth anymore. Only assertions. The internet world has no interest in truth, only vindication for preconceived assumptions.

IR location and emitter level can be finicky - there are at least two existing boxes with different IR sensor locations.

The latest code sets in the data base are:

Comcast device:
Xfinity Rf only (used with mrf-350), USE code set 202

Xfinity IP only, USE code set 203

You can use code set 195 with IR only if you have no base-station.

These codes work but can be slower to respond than the Comcast supplied remote.

an update - heard from Comcast CXI that they have REPLICATED the problem, and come across a codeset that addresses the issue!

I'm due to go onsite to client on Tue 2/17 to try the fix, will update this thread at that point.
