Here you go. Found that the sharp projector video 3 works on Aquos input 3. Enjoy

So do these discretes work on all the versions of the 30" Aquos? When they first came out it was a 2U, then 4U, and now I think it's 6U. Did you have luck on all of them?

Hello.

I have had no luck with these codes opperating the Australian model LCD's (13", 15" or 20"). The only discrete codes that I have that work are the following.

1,306 = AV1

0000 006d 0000 0020 000a 0047 000a 001e 000a 001e 000a 001e 000a 001e 000a 001e 000a 0047 000a 001e 000a 001e 000a 0047 000a 0047 000a 001e 000a 001e 000a 0047 000a 001e 000a 068b 000a 0047 000a 001e 000a 001e 000a 001e 000a 001e 000a 0047 000a 001e 000a 0047 000a 0047 000a 001e 000a 001e 000a 0047 000a 0047 000a 001e 000a 0047 000a 068b

30,387 = component

0000 006d 0000 0020 000a 001d 000a 0043 000a 0043 000a 0043 000a 0043 000a 0043 000a 0043 000a 001d 000a 001d 000a 001d 000a 001d 000a 001d 000a 0043 000a 0043 000a 001d 000a 0602 000a 001d 000a 0043 000a 0043 000a 0043 000a 0043 000a 001d 000a 001d 000a 0043 000a 0043 000a 0043 000a 0043 000a 0043 000a 001d 000a 001d 000a 0043 000a 0602

I have tried playing with the codes trying to switch parts but with no luck.

Has anyone managed to get a power command working?
Please let me know if they work for you and what LCD size they worked on.

Regards
Daniel

Daniel,

The power-on, power-off discretes work on my Sharp LC-37G4U (I figure it is time we start posting model numbers -- I don't think the codes are the same even for models of the same size!)

So does the PC DIRECT mentioned in this thread. On the LC-37G4U that maps to Input5 which is the DVI input. CARD works too, but of course that button is on the OEM remote and can be learned. In fact, that goes for a lot of the codes posted (except for service menu) -- they already exist on the remote and can be easily learned.

Still looking for Input 1..4. Especially Input1 and Input2. Would also like to find discretes for ViewMode 1..4, but if the input discretes don't exist, I won't hold my breath for the view mode discretes.

Looking like a Xantech IRS232A is in my future...

Has anyone managed to get the input1-4 discretes working on the LC-37G4U?

I see some people report success, but not on any specific model. As far as i can tell, none of the input codes posted so far are functional for tv. All other codes appear to work well.

If someone is willing to send me the latest code spreadsheet ([email protected]), i would be happy to try converting the codes to protohex and see if they are any different from those that have been posted so far.

All help is greatly appriciated. I have attempted using a macro to hack the functionality, but cannot get it to work with high reliability.

Hello. I have read through this forum a few times searching for codes for my Pronto. Thank you for all the good information. Can someone email (view profile) me the Excel spreadsheet too? I have a 37" LC-37GD6U and the codes posted here don't cover all the inputs.

By the way can any one explain to a neophyte why the pronto can't read the ir codes from the remote?

thanks again.

WOW!! Awesome! I am new to Home Theater, but I feel like I am doing the right things... I bought an Aquos 37G4U and an MX800 remote. I am trying to create some really slick macros for video/audio switching, but I can figure out how to take these codes an get them onto my MX800 mapped to buttons, etc.

Can anyone point me in the right direction?

Thanks!

I haven't seen any discrete's for the the av modes. I have different settings for when watching a movie vs. watching tv. It would be nice to be able to switch modes in the macro's. Has anyone done this?

bseppa,
there's an mxd file for your remote and tv in the files section.
