Are any of the IR->Bluetooth devices designed to allow IR control of the PS3 also capable of turning on a Wii?

The only way to turn on a Wii via remote that I know of is to solder two wires onto the momentary switch contacts at the power button and use an external controller with relays on board to close them for about a second to power on/off. So, it's not discreet, but it works. This will void the warranty, but I have yet to hear of someone with a Wii that went bad.
Hopefully the Wii U will have something for this. As I understand, it still won't have a DVD player built in, but the promotional videos look very cool..... You can play right on the remote without using a monitor.
