I have a logitech 550 that I use to control the PS3 and the OFF command works fine with this remote. I copied the codes to the URC MX-3000 remote and everything except the OFF button works .
I know the sequence of the commands in the Logitech remote are PS button for 2 seconds Select Select .
But the problem is , how do I get the PS button option to be hold for 2 seconds in the MX 3000 remote . I checked the box where it say's repeat the command on the Learn page for the PS button , but it didnt work either .
Any suggestions would be much appreciated .

From my review:
"A special “PS3 Off” command is included in the Harmony database for an automated shutdown macro. The associated commands are sent directly from the remote, and not from a macro stored onboard the adapter – this was likely done in case the macro needs to be changed in the future, as the unit is not updateable. "
I believe the MX-3000 can only have code duration specified for database commands... which means unless URC has functional Logitech codes in their database, you will not be able to simulate holding down the PS button.
Remember, though, that you can also shut down the PS3 from the XMB (far left / top option).
