Has anyone tried the RE-BL X - IR to Bluetooth wireless converter?
I am curious to know how it stacks up with the PS3IR-1000.

In comparison to the Schmartz products the RE-BL X would be comparable to the PS3IR-500 plus it adds the IR extender capability. One nice feature of the new RE BL X model is the auto-pairing to your Playstation. Just navigate to the BD Remote menu of your PS3, plug in the REBL and you're ready to go. We've had a lot of great feedback on this simplifying the installation.
The Schmartz PS3IR-1000 has the power sensing capability via a USB cable connected to the USB (which is now included along with the power adapter with every PS3IR-1000).
