It's been a while since this topic has been discussed so I am resurrecting it.
I want to get a Harmony PS3 adapter to work with my MX-350. My plan was to learn the remote codes to my MX-350 from my friends Harmony One.
Will this work?
If learning doesn't work, what are my options?
Will I also be able to turn ON and OFF the PS3?
Is there a better solution out there for PS3 (trying to avoid harmony remote)?
Thanks for the help.
1) Maybe. URC has trouble with the odd code format used.
2) With the MX-350 and Harmony adapter? Probably nothing.
3) Yes, but in the same way as it's done with the BD remote (any button will turn it on, but to turn it off requires multiple steps with the PS menu).
4) Pretty much anything will be better for use with the PS3 and a non-Harmony remote than the Harmony adapter... but they are starting to get tricky to find. Probably the cheapest option available right now is the RE-BL X:
