I followed jwatckins helpful directions for taking apart my spare TSU9400 hoping to figure out why the touch screen was not working (I did not succeed). When I put it back together I ended up with an extra part (I hate that) with no idea where it goes or what it does. The TSU94000 seems to [not] work as before. Can anyone tell me what this is and where it goes?

Is that not a plastic broken case hinge/clip?

Lyndel,

It may be as long as "plastic" modifies "case" and not "clip" since it is thin sheet metal with a bent curve at the top of the fingers. I did break the plastic case clips at the bottom of the case when opening it -- thank goodness for the screws.

David,

I don't have a 9400 or a 9300 service manual. You might RCMail user GoPronto and pass along this thread's link and ask if he's ever seen this part.

I only ever had a single 9400 and I did take it apart but never saw a part like that.
