Hi,

Unfortunately last night a friend of mine was messing around with my remote trying to make it work with my TV and Sky box which is not something that I wanted doing and now the remote will not power on my amp.

The Stand-By button doesn't do anything but the CD/AUX/Tuner ETC buttons now actually turn the amp on in that particular mode which is ok but I would like to get it back to how it originally worked.

I am hoping that someone out there will be able to advise me on how to reset the remote to its default settings or maybe some other way of making it revert to default.

Failing this a link to the manual will probably help me to sort this problem.

Based on the belief that the remote is an OEM device and it's the AV-8 receiver manual you're after, I've taken a look but it seems Nakamichi isn't the company it once used to be - there's no support page on their website and all the third party links I've so far tried requires one to register to download or view.

Possibly one's best bet is to use the Retrevo link but at the moment the server's down (for the past few hours) for a scheduled system update.
