Ive searched high and low and I just cant seem to find anything oo this remote maybe they didn't make many but I couldn't even find a picture that resembled it so I took a picture please help me if you have any ideas on how I could program the remote its even an Emerson tv im trying to sync it with.

If its current emerson TV model, forget it. Only oem remotes from UEI for Directv & cable have a preset code for the recent emerson tv's.


You will need a learning remote, so you can use the emerson remote to teach the universal remote the commands.

the tv i have isnt very new it has to be a 90's model its a flat screen but not a small one i have another universal remote that works just fine with it I didnt even have to program it but id like to use the big one instead and i would put the name of it but i cant find it hah thats the reason i want to have the big remote

I'd already noticed the similarity between the Emerson and Sharper Image, though I doubt MerchSource actually make them (and there's no guarantee the programming and codes will be the same). However, the manual for the latter, sans page 15 alas, can be found here.

Well even if I do find a code what should I press before entering the code there are no bottons that say code search one says m- power

As already mentioned, there are a number of similarities between the Emerson and Sharper Image, two being that both have an M-Power button and neither has a specific code search button. Perhaps then the programming for the two is the same, but I cannot be sure as I don't have an Emerson remote or manual.

try pressing and holding the particular device key you want to program, if it givesd you confirmation signal, then enter the code
