Hi,
I need to design an interactive music display which will play MP3 sample tracks. I have a "user interface" which is a 4x4 matrix of pushbutton switches which is designed to take a graphic overlay showing the CDs. I need the player and I will need to design an interface which converts the pushbutton inputs to remote control signals.
Can anyone suggest an MP3 player for this purpose and tell me how to get hold of the remote specifications? The MP3 player would need removable flash media (so I can update the display), headphone output, AC power (or wall-wart adapter.) Remote could be infrared, USB, or wired, as long as I can get the specs for it. No special features or fancy user interface are needed as the player will be hidden inside of the display.
If my request is outside the scope of this forum, can anyone suggest where I might look/ask for the information?
Thank you very much!

FatBear,
I've been using Bemused on a Nokia phone (NGage and 6600) with Winamp. Works very well too. All operated through Bluetooth.
I realise this isn't in the specs for what you're after, but if nothing else, it's an option to decompile the code and build a platform base from there.
Hope it's some use to you.
