Hello everyone!
I have an MX-980. I just picked up a Sony CDP X339es. I know it is older, but it was in beautiful shape and a great deal. The remote is the RMS-103. The remote does not have buttons for power or open/close. The unit is not listed in CCP. I was able to use "Sony CDP-XA7ES" in the IR Database of CCP to program all of the necessary functions. I would like to at least have the power command. Is this even possible? I tried several in CCP with no luck. Anyone have experience with this unit? The group has always been a help to me and I truly appreciate it.

I posted too fast and realized that the remote supplied with the unit is not actually the correct remote for the unit. The actual remote does have those commands. I apologize.
