I was making some changes on my MX-4000 and after a learn CCP crashed. I wasn't programming when CCP crashed. Now when I try to program it fails saying: Can't make a downloading data. The remote is working fine.

I found this post: [Link: remotecentral.com]

but deleting the temp data and rebooting didn't fix anything.

I can upload data from the remote to CCP but not the other way.

Any suggestions? Thanks

Have you tried re-installing CCP?

I uninstalled CCP, rebooted, and then reinstalled it. Same error. I then installed CCP on my wife's laptop and it programs the MX-4000 with no issues.

Is your problem strictly downloading to the remote, but otherwise CCP works as usual?

Yes, I can upload from the MX-4000 to CCP, but downloading fails.

Weird. Have you tried a different USB cable? Maybe the current one went bad?

As a follow-up. Problem is solved. When CCP crashed it corrupted a temporary file folder on the PC. I had seen the folder previously while looking for temp files, but file explorer said it was empty, so I ignored it. Turns out it the folder itself was corrupt and CCP couldn't write to it. Deleting it solved the problem.
