Hi folks, I really like the single-gang TKP100 for Total Control but I only have access to Complete Control.
The TKP100 would have been perfect in my existing wall panels in various rooms.

I don't like the idea of the oversized wall controls.
BUT... if those are my only options, then are their any options for Complete Control other than the KP900 and KP4000?

I'll be used to control the same equipment as MX-980 and MX-990.
AVR, TV, whole house amp and source selections.

Goal is to have the control mounted to the wall at all times and have it look like a normal part of the wall.  Not like an MX980 duct taped to the wall.
Prefer in-wall powered/PoE but if the batteries last a couple weeks with minimal use, then that works I guess.

I don't need or want an LCD screen.  Would prefer simple buttons.
But I wouldn't object to a screen either.

These are my minimum button requirements.
But it would be nice to have a few extra too.
  • Amp ON
  • Amp OFF
  • Volume Up
  • Volume Down
  • Favorite channel 1
  • Favorite channel 2

Suggestions?

If KP900 & KP4000 are my only wall-options, then I would also appreciate feedback on one vs the other.
Is there some way to power the KP900 via PoE/Cat6 instead of battery?

KP900 is like an MX900 in the wall.

Battery drain made it too inconvenient for my clients so I quit using it.

I did quite a few KP4000 and they always work.
There is no truth anymore. Only assertions. The internet world has no interest in truth, only vindication for preconceived assumptions.
