Wondering if there is a market anywhere for the URC Pro equipment - I purchased equipment just as URC was making the software download installer-only.

I have 2 MSC-400s; bunch of cables including RS-232 and power-sense inputs; and one MSC-400 power supply.

I have 2 MX-980 remotes with charging cradles, power supplies, USB cables and extra batteries.

I was heavily vested in MSC/MX programming with extensive multi-step, multi-device macros...I was on build #154 of the MSC program!?! Knowing the scarcity, I bought a backup MSC-400 and MX-980.

I built a Windows 7 32-bit machine specifically for programming the MSC-400. In moving to my current home, I eliminated most of the complexity and just went with MX-750/MX-850 remotes.

In looking on eBay, there seems to be zero market for this equipment. I'm thinking this is the last/only place that might have suggestions - I hate the thought of taking this stuff to an electronics recycler where it will be shredded..

I also have the URC MX and CCP software.

FWIW - there seems a fair amount of confusion as to what software runs on what platforms... The MX-editors (ie. MX-850 Editor) run fine on Windows 10/11 64-bit.

I believe programming (CCP) for the MX-980 will also run on current platforms.

The big deal with the MSC-400 was that there were only 32-bit drivers available and these only worked up to Windows 7.

eBay is the only market am aware of.
Prices are very cheap now, yeah. Probably $30 each might be the average?
Or at least, that's where it was about a year or two ago.

Everyone wants a remote with voice-activation now (I don't).

MX990's are tanking in price lately also.
I used to get one or two emails a year from eBay when an MX990 dipped down into my price range.
Now I'm getting an email every week.

Did not know about that 32bit driver issue.
But that's what VM's are for! :)
