Last chance salon here, probably a shot to nothing.

Isued MX850, MX905 and MRF250 perfectly for over a decade. A year or so ago I moved to the MX980. Ever since with several combinations of remote and base station (details below), I get the same problem.

The base station blinks to say it has got the signal OK, but does not send anything to the device. I have exhausted all other things (lots of posts here etc. expert uses, URC support), just wondered if anything else broadcast in the UK might be causing the issue ?

Thanks

Combinations tried
MX980 MRF 300
MX980i MRF 260i
MX980i MRF 350i
MX900i MRF 260i

I have a MX-890 and a MF-350 in the UK and they have worked for years.

Check that in your IR Controls setting of CCP which Receiver and which IR Output they are set to. They flash the lights even if it's just coming out a port on the back.

Thanks for your time, roydonalson, that is one of the (many things) I have tried, just to be sure I did it again. In CCP its set to the same channel as the base unit and to all ports.

I only want to use the front blaster, but to test I put a remote eye in port one, and when I press a button on the remote the front light on the base unit winks, and the remote eye flashes red.

Can I ask what RF channel you are using, I have 1, 0F and possibly others, but not all of them.
