G'day brains trust, I have a very good condition MX-900 that appears to work perfectly, however it wont show up on any of my computers when connected to USB Port and I need to reprogram it.
I have several known good Mini-USB cables that I've confirmed work on my other URC remotes (MX-810 & MX-980), but nothing happens when connected to any of my PC's (nothing appears in device manager).
The port on the MX-900 doesn't appear to be completely dead as I've discovered it'll power the remote if I take the batteries out. It also feels solidly connected to the PCB and doesn't wiggle when cables are inserted into the remote.
I've tried the "boot loader" option, spraying electrical contact cleaner into the port and have factory reset the remote, nothing has made a difference. :-(
Any ideas?

Ok so that is weird, the issue is my Mac Mini. When I plugged it into my ancient Windows 7 laptop it came up straight away.
I program my URC remotes in a Windows VM and macOS just isn't recognising the MX-900 at all, so as a result isn't passing it on to my VM.
