Thanks in advance for any guidance. I am trying to set up the MX-500 so that my 7 and 8 yr old kids, and my wife, can easily use the system. I have a tv, cable box, PS3 (blue-ray), CD, and Ipod (Aux) inputs. All audio is pushed to the amp. My current first page has 4 macros. "Power on all", "power off all", "PS3", and "Cbl tv". We currently need to press thr "Watch" hard button, THENpower all, THEN sequentially either the cable tv or ps3. From the tv, it sets up the amp for tv input and Movie 1 sound, the tv for cable input, and switches to the cable screen on the remote.
Currently we have to push "Watch", then
1 - any ideas on a way to force power on on all components (Panasonic TH-37PX60U TV), and Yamaha RX-V730 amp. Now it is more of a point and pray.
2 - Any ideas on how to create a main screen that makes it just easier to use?
I have seperate pages for all the components, but I am lookingto make this SIMPLE.
