Hi,

I have some older MX-880 customer files I created in the MX-880 editor V.1.00.116. I tried to import it into the new CCP editor by opening the file,
by importing the Model and finally by importing it as a Device. However, it does not recognize the file *.mxj extension. I tried changing the file name to something like customer_001.ccp but that did not work either.

I have used most of the MX editors, but not the CCP editor. Is there some easy way of importing the file into CCP or am I missing something? I have read various threads on this topic but still no joy! I assume this is a problem for all older files like *.mxf, *.mxd , etc...

Can someone give me some instructions or steps on how to do this?

One thing did just occur to me. Do I have to download to the MX-880 from old editor and then upload with the new CCP ???

Thanks,

Under "configure home" when you add a new mx-880 device there is an option to select "Existing". Select the browse button there and change the "Files of type" filter to be mxj and you should be able to bring in your config.
