If I point the remote at the tv when triggering an activity it will turn on and off. But it won't take the command through the 260. All other components operate just fine using the 260.

The TV is a Samsung HL-S7178. The IR flasher is plugged into port #3 on the 260 (yes, I set the flasher line correctly in the prowizard, and yes the settings have been downloaded to the remote)
I have the receiver set to ID2 on both the 260 and in the software. Are tv's particularly sensitive to the IR ouput level? Should I be using line 1 or 2 and adjusting the output? If yes, does it need a higher or lower setting?
Any other ideas?
thanks for your help,
kadiddle

Is the setting in the RF section of the software set on RF? Sounds to me if you are pointing the remote at the tv and it's working, it's set to IR.

It was set to both (IR & RF). I just tried plugging the flasher in line two and turned up the dial on the 260 all the way (for line 2 only) and it worked. So it seems the tv needs a strong flasher. I also played with a flasher that came with the tv for controlling other devices. That flasher is very strong and works on any line. Problem solved.
thanks,

I would still set the software to RF only.
