I just purchased a used MX-810 and when lightly shaking it I hear a few things moving around. Everything seems to work, but I was wondering if other mx-810 users could tell me if they hear things moving around when they lightly shake it. IT doesn't sound like anything is loose, but maybe just moving back and forth. Just want to verify that it is ok.
thanks

My 2 810 battery covers shake a bit, should have a little pad in them. Neither do.

Could be the pick-up sensor.

Could be the pick-up sensor. Ditto on the sensor.

My mechanic told me, "I couldn't repair your brakes, so I made your horn louder." |

If it sounds like a light jingle, as if a small ball bearing is moving around in the remote, then it's definitely the pickup sensor. They use a small metal ball in a cage as a motion sensor. This is more eco-friendly than a mercury switch or whatever.
