Marcus, does it means my X10 RF remotes will still work
even if I use the IR-543 for my livingroom IR-RF remote?
Thanks,
Gui.

I don't see why not. If I can find my X-10 remote, I'll test it. I'm not sure I ever used it or where I put it :) .

UPDATE:

It worked. I just had to change the house code since I use B for my lights. After that, all was good.

Does your IR-543 use "B" as well?
Thanks,
Gui.

Yup. But I did notice that the IR543 gives you the choice of either "1-4" or "5-8". I think that might be for using the actual buttons on the 543 itself, not the signals it will receive. If that makes any sense.

You got that right but I won't be using this ugly wired remote I'll hide it (with an IR emitter)
It's good to know those others RF remotes will still work I have 5.
Thanks Marcus,
Gui.
