I got my mx-980 four days ago and I'm working it from
the cradle everynight cause the battery is dead. Is it
because I'm running huge series of test while programing
it or the battery can't last a whole day? Maybe mine is
defective but either way I'm sure I will have to change
this battery soon. Does anyone know the price tag on these?

Thanks
Jack

What I do if I'm going to do heavy programming is I turn down the LCD screen brightness. That is the biggest power draw from the battery. Then I turn off the hard button lights. After I finish programming, I just do the reset to default option. This can all be done from the editor if you don't want to do it from the remote itself.

The one at my house, I don't always put it on the charger, and it'll last a couple of days without returning to the charger. I use it everyday.
