I was trying to download a set up from these forums and the software came up with an error msg and left the remote stuck on loader. I pulled out the batteries and now I've got nothing, only the two permanent horizontal lines. I've tried the listen/enter combo and it's still a dead remote. Anyone have any idea how to fix this, other than return the unit.

Are you able to establish any connection to the remote? Under "Communications", check "Firmware Version" to see. If so, have you tried downloading a blank or default 10 device (but empty) configuration to the remote?

No, I can't even get my computer to recognise that a device is attached.
