1) Is the manual on how to use the MX-980 editor available? I know I can piece together information from other editors manuals, but there has got to be somebody that has the actual manual as a PDF (maybe somebody who would like a nice cigar? )

2) This is a really simply question I am sure, but on my MSC-400, if I want to use a video sensor exactly what does the RCA jack portion plug into on my receiver? Would it be the OUT jack of the selected component?

Sorry if these are lame questions.

1) If you have the latest version of the 980 editor, there should be a manual available under HELP>PROGRAMMING MANUAL

2) The RCA jack goes into a video Out of your video Device, not out of your receiver, for instance, the composite out of your DVD player, or Cable box.

1) I do have the latest version of the software, but it doesn't have a manual, it has a PDF of programming tips, but it is very sparse.

2) thanks for the clarification, wasn't sure how it would work in terms of where to plug it in :)

There is no programming manual for the MX-980 yet, other than the short guide available under "Help". The graphics manipulation follows the MX-3000 for the most part and the macros are covered to some extent in the MSC-400 reference guide. Look at those two for help.

There is online training available from start to finish on the MX-980 within the URC Control Room.

Yeah. It doesn't cover everything you can do with the software, but it's much better than the short guide.
