Anyone know by chance if there is a way to create a toggle type command from 2 hex discrete codes?

I would like to create a toggle with 2 discrete buttons to be used on a hard button within an activity. Specifically, I have 2 aspect discrete codes (the toggle code has 4 options) that I would like to assign to one button, so it switches between the 2 aspect formats I use...

I assume on a MX-810 this has to be creative since variables are not supported.

I have been playing around with creating dummy devices/activities but I cannot seem to get the right function yet, let alone assigned to a hard button...

Any tips or things to try?
