I am slowly figuring out the software for this gadget. It is not the most straight-forward, but I am making some progress. Here is where I am currently faltering.

I have 2 activities, watch TV and watch DVD. I have the pause button on the watch DVD activity set so that it will pause and raise the lights to a 'favorite' level.

Now what I want to do is have it jump to the watch tv activity. If i wanted to add a device command, I would select the device in the browser and drag the code for it to the button in the activity. I cannot grag the code from the activity menu page. Is there a way to have a button include a jump to another activity?

I hope I am explaining myself well, but i am not sure if I have.

Any help will really be appreciated,

ar

Can't help you too much as I have yet to find out how to program page jumps with the software either...and am waiting for them to reinstitute a save as feature so that I can easily make multiple save points while programming. The first version of the software allowed this, the current one does not.

If you want to try different configs and tweaks without ruining a good codeset with the 810 software you can do so when it first starts up. It will ask you to start a new file or work with an existing file. Choose your existing file... then it will ask if you want to continue working on it with the same file name or create a new file name. Try this. Yes, it is a bit of a pain to have to close and restart the program each time but it should work.

ar,

As far as I know, you cannot jump to an activity or a device. :(

Looks like we are upholding the guy thing and ignoring the programming manual! :-)

Your task may be relatively easy to do, but you will need to do it in a macro inside the device. If you are in the watch DVD device, simply make the last step :Go to watch TV". The Go to icon is at the top of the macro page.

Hope it helps.
