And if you no longer have the original CD , you can extract the drivers from the .exe file that you can download from Sony.
Install WinRar (WinZip will probably work as well) on your machine and right click on the file and select "extract here".
Amongst the other files are the drivers , so you can follow the instructions above to point 9 and instead of selecting the CD , point to where you extracted the files.
I've just done this on my W7 machine as I needed to reprogram the AX for my new Blu Ray player.
