I could be wrong, but I don't believe there is anything you can do with CCP that you can't do with the standalone editors. The main reason for switching is simply because URC appears to be phasing out the standalone editors. Since all future URC remotes will only be able to be programmed with CCP, you might as well learn how to use it sooner rather than later. :)
