Hi-- I have an MX950 and a Sony STR-DA5300ES receiver. The 5300 is in both the IR database as well as the IR navigator, yet none of the IR command seem to function with my 950. I can get some commands for other Sony STR devices to function with my 5300(ie pow on,off, etc). I have gotten around it by using the discrete power on/off codes for another STR device and just learning all other buttons from the OEM remote. But just for curiosity sake, I am wondering whats up with the codes in the database.... could there be something I'm doing wrong ?
