I'm a fan of XBOX, mostly because of Halo. The games do load faster on PS3, but i think the graphics are sharper on the 360. Be on the lookout for the rings of death on the XBOX 360 though. If you're looking to use your console just for gaming, then i'd go for XBOX. But, if you're looking to watch movies on your console then go with the PS3.
