I was wondering if anybody has any experience with trying to control the Sony CX777ES from DVD Profiler with a USB to Serial adapter attached to their PC?

There's a plugin available that I downloaded.

I have set the "LOCATION: RS232" and the "SLOT: 2" in DVD Profiler. I'm using a straight thru DB9 to the changer and when I select the "Play/Retreive Disc-1:Main Title" with the plugin, nothing happens.

I'm going to research the protocol for the changer and try testing with Hyperterminal but thought I'd ask sooner than later, could just be that I need a null modem cable.....
