Not trying to be rude, but have you read the manual? In my version of the manual, there is section entitled 'Add an IR code in the configuration file by learning'.

The process depends on which version of the editing software you are using (PEPV1 or PEPV2). The manual is, I think, the PEPV1 method. In PEPV2, you have to go into 'My Database', set up the device and associated functions and then hit the learn button.
