How? I have no serial under the battery cover despite
the device being brand new, so I can’t register and URC

for their response, but I have a feeling they are not
authorized.
It's located under the batteries themselves. You have to take out the batteries to see it. The serial number is on a white sticker measuring about 2.5 cm by 1 cm. (There is also a barcode on this sticker.)
Who was the retailer?
